Following the recent release of Bert & Mafulee: The Night Before The First Day of School, today Martin announced a new female character driven book called Detective Donna and the Case of the Missing Kitty, illustrated by Tombey Filberto. 

While currently selling online, the book will see it's days in bookstores in 2021. With the Adam and Eve book series currently being sold across the world online, and making it's way into top retailers, Martin won't be focusing on Donna's major retailer release until next year. That way, she gets all the attention she deserves. This plan allows Biblical Books to make a way into the "limelight" before Martin Books, as well.
 
Donna Randle, also known as Detective Donna (DD), is a Martin original fictional character. At less than ten years old, she is determined to uplift the mood of her community. Sure, her parents Judith and Jean argue sometimes, but their love and support for their daughter is visible. Experience the mystery in the new children's book that is a great introduction to chapter books for every young reader.
 
Josh Martin thought up of the Donna character while working on the computer and listening to the news. One of the women on the talk-show said, "When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a detective." This inspired Josh to come up with a female hero for children that can solve mysteries and search for truth. Additional details to the story would be later developed, but that was the initial premise of the story.
